Michelle's Approach

The techniques Michelle uses are integrative and dependent on the needs of each individual client or group. They may include the more conventional verbal approaches as well as creative methodologies, visualisations, sand-tray, drawing, and bodywork. Where 'talking therapies' may sometimes feel too challenging, there is no pressure to find the exact words to convey feelings. Michelle thoroughly enjoys assisting people of all ages to explore their full potential. Through genuine support and a holistic approach, she assists clients to build their confidence, as they gain knowledge of themselves as individuals, and the world around them. Michelle practices Play Therapy for children. She uses a non-directive approach to support and encourage children and special needs clients.

“Michelle has worked with groups of children in our school for over 7 years and each year I become increasingly impressed with her enthusiasm and creativity especially in the areas of language, drama and enhancing self esteem. I have and continue to recommend her to parents in our school and consider that her input has significantly impacted positively on many pupils here.” Elaine White.
